Furnace House Surgery can now announce that the telephone appointments system implemented during Covid is now ending. You will now be able to book either face to face or telephone consultation appointment with your GP.

Please allow 48 hours for your prescription. If you are unable to leave your house, please contact the pharmacy of your choice to request delivery.
The current Government Guidance for employers and businesses on coronavirus (Covid-19) states;
We strongly suggest that employers use their discretion around the need for medical evidence for a period of absence where an employee is advised to stay at home either as they are unwell themselves, or live with someone who is, in accordance with the public health advices issued by the government.”

Do you need an isolation note?
Requests for certification of absence from the workplace relating to Covid-19 may fall into three main categories. Further information regarding these groups can be downloaded here.
If you are self-isolating as a result of COVID 19 (Coronavirus) guidance, you can get an isolation note by following the link below to the NHS Website. You do not need to contact your GP surgery.

Out of Hours and Emergency
If the surgery is closed, and you require immediate out of hours medical advice, please dial 111.
If you have a medical emergency, please do not hesitate to dial 999.
