Making An Appointment
The telephone appointments system implemented during Covid is now ending. You will now be able to book either face to face or telephone consultation appointment with your GP.
Please be patient while this changes take place.
Please note that during your consultation with the doctor or nurse, you may be asked with your consent to be referred to a health or social care clinician outside the practice.
People who are clinically triaged as requiring an urgent assessment are offered a same day consultation.
At Furnace House Surgery we have six nurses and two healthcare assistants who are available for a range of services including:
- Blood Pressure Checks
- Travel Vaccinations
- Removal of Stitches
- General Health Advice
- General Medical Advice
- Ear Irrigation
An appointment is necessary to see the nurse at Furnace House Surgery.
They are available 09:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 17:40 Monday to Friday inclusive.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
