Swyddog Lles

Weithiau, bydd cleifion yn ymweld â'u meddyg teulu am resymau heblaw materion meddygol, a hynny am nad ydynt yn gwybod at bwy i droi i gael cymorth ar gyfer eu problemau cymdeithasol ehangach, sy'n cael effaith negyddol sylweddol ar eu hiechyd. Mae'n cael ei dderbyn fwyfwy fod gan ffynonellau cymorth mewn cymunedau lleol rôl bwysig i'w chwarae ochr yn ochr â gofal clinigol, neu hyd yn oed fel dewis arall, wrth wella canlyniadau iechyd a lles unigol rhywun. Mae gwasanaethau lles yn cynnig amrywiaeth eang o ffynonellau cymorth i bobl yn y gymuned, gan wella lles emosiynol a chorfforol a lleihau arwahanrwydd cymdeithasol. Yn aml, darperir y gwasanaethau gan bobl sy'n gweithio ac yn gwirfoddoli yn y trydydd sector neu'r sector annibynnol, gan ategu rôl sefydliadau statudol.

Wellbeing Walks are now being organised in your local area.

The group walks are led by friendly, trained volunteers who are on hand to provide encouragement and support, and make sure no one gets left behind.

The walks are short and over easy terrain. They are open to everyone, but are especially aimed at those who are least active.  With all of the physical and mental health benefits associated with walking, now seems a great time to see when your nearest walk is taking place.  Click yma for more information.  Please note due to Covid-19 restrictions you must register online prior to the meeting.

Furthermore, people across Wales aged 16 and over experiencing mild to moderate anxiety, depression or stress can now access free online 12 week SilverCloud online therapy course without needing to go through their GP via their smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer.  More information can be found on the link below:
