What is My Health Online?

My Health Online is a new, online service that Furnace House Surgery is now using in conjunction with NHS Wales.

Once you’ve created an account you will be able to use the features your GP practice has made available, which may include:

  • Request repeat prescriptions
  • Update your personal information
  • View parts of your medical record summary

You can still contact the Furnace House Surgery by phone or in person, this is just another option, which other patient’s have found more convenient and saves them time.   More information including “how to” leaflets and videos of patients and why they are using GP online services are available at www.nhs.co.uk/gponlineservices

How do I register for My Health Online?

Before you can use all of the facilities found on My Health Online you should register to use the service.  In order to register you must obtain a registration letter from your GP practice.  If you do not have this you will not be able to use some of the features.

During the registration process you will be asked to prove your identity with a passport/driver’s licence and a utility bill as a proof of your address.

Once you have received your registration letter go to the My Health On Line registration page.

Enter the Practice ID which can be found on your registration letter

Enter the Account ID and the Linkage Key from your registration letter.  Then complete the account details as prompted.  An email will be sent as verification of your completed registration, so ensure that you use your own personal email account when registering.
