Am I Eligible for the Shingles Vaccination?

We are aware that there has been a media campaign advising that all patients aged over 65 years are now entitled to a shingles vaccination, but this is going to be a phased vaccination programme over 5 years, so we will not be contacting all patients immediately.

All eligible patients will be contacted by text, letter or phone, so please wait to be contacted by the practice.

Patients will be contacted as they reach their 65^th and 70^th birthday, and patients aged 71 to 79 years. The vaccination program will commence in the New Year, however, eligible patients may contact the surgery to book an appointment.
